IP Lawyer 2-4 years PAE

The Firm:
Our client is a leading Australian law firm with an excellent reputation in place for providing superior legal advice to its clients.  With offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth the firm continues to go from strength to strength attracting only the best professionally.  Due to continued growth, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lawyer to join its award-winning IP team.
The Role:
The team advises the full spectrum of IP law including copyright, patents, brand protection and trade marks, false advertising, breach of confidence, database protection, commercial IP licensing, product liability, cyber security and anti-counterfeiting.  IP enforcement is a speciality. 

Clients include a diverse range of national and international companies in fields such as technology, consumer electronics, content, entertainment, gaming, software, beverages, FMCG, retail, fashion, mining, and financial services.
This role will see you work on a broad range of Commercial IP & Trade Mark matters including:
  • Trade Marks, Designs, Domain Name prosecution and enforcement
  • Commercial agreements with an IP focus
  • IP, technology, software licencing
  • Corporate transactions with an IP, IT/ technology focus
  • IP advisory work 
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years PAE and will have strong demonstrable Trade Mark, IP, IT transactional experience including on due diligence and associated documentation and IP advisory skills.  You will be an excellent communicator with strong technical skills and a desire to develop your career within a leading team.
